Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
